Yes, SickBank has an appeals process to review any denied claim?

Some of the reasons a claim may be denied include but are not limited to: • You are no longer employed with the member organization. • You have not yet exhausted all your employer provided accrued sick time. • You have not provided proper documentation to support your absence • You have provided fraudulent documentation to support your absence.

If a claim is denied, a notification will be sent to you with the claim number and reason for denial as well as whether you are eligible for appeal.

If you are eligible for appeal there will be a link to the claims appeal portal. Fill in all required information on the form and upload all supporting documentation for the appeal. Once complete file the appeal on line.

SickBank will make every effort to expedite an appeal. We know you need to know the result as soon as humanly possible.
